Gear and Spline Broaching Solutions
Broaching is an extremely efficient process for cutting precision internal gears and splines. It consistently provides high surface finish accuracy, ideal for forming internal gears, circular and non-circular holes, splines, keyways, and helicals. Because of the unique shape of the broaching tool (or “broach”), the entire cut is performed in a single pass. This is an extremely efficient process, leading to a high production rate suitable solution for high-quantity production runs.
At Systrand, we have CNC equipment with automation to broach both straight and helical requirements. We broach a variety of products and materials for our customers, specializing in more complex operations, including helical broaching for internal helical gears. Thanks to our gear expertise, we can easily broach complex close tolerance internal configurations.
